"Earlier this year, Siskiyou were approached to take part in a project initiated by the Groninger Museum in Groningen, NL. Several musicians were asked to create music that would accompany individual paintings on an audio tour of the museum’s upcoming exhibition on the Group of Seven. We’re sorry to say the project has since dissolved, though not before the stark, haunting “Always Awake”, composed by Colin Huebert to accompany Tom Thomson’s “Burnt Country, Evening”, was committed to tape".
